The short version. If you join the waitlist, I keep your email address and, if you picked one, your answer to the timing question. I use them to send you one email when the planner is ready. I don't sell them, share them for advertising, or pass them to anyone else. You can leave whenever you like, and I'll delete you if you ask.

What I collect

That's the entire list. There's no name field, no phone number, no address, and nothing about your actual wedding.
Where it's stored, and who else touches it

If you're outside the United States, that means your information is transferred there.
Nobody else. I don't sell your personal information and I don't share it for cross-context behavioural advertising, as those terms are defined under California law. I'd only ever hand anything over if legally required to.
No tracking, no analytics, no ad pixels
There are no analytics tools on this page, no advertising pixels, and no third-party tracking cookies. I genuinely don't know how many people visit or where they came from.
The page does store one small thing in your own browser: a note that you already signed up, so it shows you a thank-you instead of the form next time. It never leaves your device and clearing your browser data removes it.
How long I keep it
Until you unsubscribe or ask me to delete it, or until the waitlist has served its purpose and I close it down. There's no reason for me to keep a list of people who don't want to hear from me.

- To stop hearing from me, either by emailing me or clicking unsubscribe on any message

If you're in the EU or UK, you have the rights set out in the GDPR, including the right to complain to your data protection authority. If you're in California, you have rights under the CCPA and CPRA including the right to know, delete, correct, and opt out of sale or sharing — and as above, there's no sale or sharing to opt out of.
Children
This isn't aimed at anyone under 16 and I don't knowingly collect anything from them. If you think a child has signed up, email me and I'll delete it.
Security
The site is served over HTTPS. Your email address sits inside Kit, protected by their security and my account password. No service can promise it will never be breached — if one happens and it affects you, I'll tell you.
If this changes
The planner itself isn't open yet. When it launches there'll be a fuller privacy policy covering the product, because a wedding planner holds far more than an email address. This page covers the waitlist only. If anything material changes before then, I'll update this page and change the date below.
